Application Developer supporting Manufacturing business areas and or Commercial Order entry applications.Position will work multiple languages including C, COBOL, PLI, Pascal, SAS, JCL, SQL, .Net, C#, Python, scripting (Bash or PowerShell), DB2, Oracle and Rdb.One area of concentration is in Micro Focus Enterprise Developer, Visual Studio, Git· Very good communication skills (written and verbal) · Very good interpersonal skills are required / must be able to work effectively with all levels of personnel · Organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize duties and multiple projects with respect to business needs, competing priorities. · Experience with an integrated technology environment (Micro Focus Cobol, PL1, Python, C# .Net ). · Extremely good problem analysis skills. · Open to learning and utilizing new technologies and new skills. · Strong trouble shooting and problem-solving skills· Experience in all aspects of the SDLC (analysis, design, development, testing, and maintenance) · Flexibility to work evening and weekend hours as needed for production on-call coverage · Experience supporting manufacturing or commercial related custom developed applications is a plus · Linux experience is a plusCertifications: · BS/BA degree in Computer Science or Equivalent
