Job Summary: * Oracle Cloud Infrastructure ( Compute VM, VCN, Storage, DBCS..) * Exadata Cloud Service * Oracle Enterprise Manager * Support Database Setup / Patching / Backup / Recovery/ Maintenance, etc. of any Oracle database-based tools * Develop new and maintain existing PL/SQL functions inside our Oracle database cluster * Monitor and maintain database maintenance plans for partitioning, index rebuilds, and database statistics. * Monitor performance of database systems resources and query throughput * Maintain and administer database security access * Perform database Ad-hoc backups and restores * Troubleshoot and resolving database connectivity issues * Familiar with tuning utilities * Familiar with Oracle physical standby setup and DGMGRL * Familiar with Unix/Linux-based commands. * Support our internal customers using the provided systems in case of problems * Follow Change Management processes to implement database configuration changes Maintain database documentation as required: * Deliver according to the project plan (if any) * Ability to take up the database related tasks, mentored by more senior team colleagues * Ability and willingness to learn new skills over time which are required for the job * Integrate into the existing team and be able to work together on tasks Basic Qualificaitons: * Knowledge of Oracle DBMS concepts * Highly self-motivated eager to learn and embrace new technologies * Skills as an Oracle DBA * Minimum of 2 years experience as an Oracle database administrator * Oracle DBA * Bachelor or Master's degree with relevant background (Computer, IT, Science,) * Strong written and verbal English is essential Renesas Electronics America is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer, committed to celebrating diversity and fostering a work environment free of discrimination on the basis of sex, race, religion, national origin, gender, gender identity, gender expression, age, sexual orientation, military status, veteran status, or any other basis protected by federal, state or local law.
