Responsibilities * Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code * Work within a team environment to extend application functionality * Troubleshoot bugs that are reported and assist in documenting issues * Write clean, well commented reusable code that adheres to generally accepted best practices Essential Skills * Proficient in C# * Experience developing web applications in one or more of the following (API's, HTML, Javascript, Angular, MVC) * Strong understanding of .NET framework / .NET core development * Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and writing reusable code * Ability to work in a team development environment where source code is merged into existing projects * Proficiency in using object data mapping and familiarity with data extraction layer techniques * Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application * Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Bit Bucket * Ability to work within a scrum-based development process with continuous integration * Working knowledge of Chrome Developer tools to diagnose errors and troubleshoot applications Desirable Skills * Angular * C# API Development * AWS DevOps * Microsoft SQL Server / Writing SQL Queries * Commodity Experience * Financial Industry Experience * Bilingual (Spanish) Work Location * The Woodlands, Texas
